General Project Objectives
Fostering inclusion of disadvantaged learners into the mainstream education, including persons with migrant background, learners with disabilities and ethnic minorities, while preventing and combating discriminatory practices
Up-scaling and disseminating innovative approved best practices
SOIL will carry out conferences in the partner countries to sensitize policy and decision makers about the idea of Inclusion in education and to inspire them to enable an unlimited access for disadvantaged learners into the mainstream education.
The SOIL consortium will be working for the next two years together to prepare and to empower teachers to better deal with diversity, to increase take-up of inclusive education approaches and to foster more welcoming and nurturing learning environments for all learners without exception.
